Ideas for breath-sensor:&lt;br /&gt;
* Using a single or an array of inductors and magnetometers around the torso should give an indication of breathing.&lt;br /&gt;
** The disadvantages is that it requires bodyworn sensors and cannot detect breathing only using the diaphragm.&lt;br /&gt;
* Reflective Photoplethysmography (PPG) is used for pulse oximetry for detecting heart rate and blood oxygen saturation. The heart-rate is detected as the AC component of the relected signal while the DC component would contain the oxygen saturation.&lt;br /&gt;
Supposedly, breathing should also be visible if a good signal is obtained. The Training Technology Lab has PPG sensors available for measuring this and is therefore well suited for making a student project about this.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
